This is the The Teaching’s first physical live CD. The CD captures a continuous, uncut set from the Triple Door on August 24th, 2009. Colorado-based saxophonist Serafin Sanchez guests on several songs, and Seattle-based singer Choklate appears on the final track, Open Sky. This CD makes a great gift for the person you know who loves fresh music.
The Teaching DVD ($15.00 USD)

This is The Teaching’s first DVD movie. The DVD is a 75-minute documentary that includes songs from The Teaching’s Triple Door show on January 2nd, 2009, interleaved with interviews from the band members, commentary from listeners at The Hang, live footage from Colorado & Seattle, and stunning multi-camera concert footage shot and edited by Mark Goodnow (The Production Foundry). Another enjoyable bonus feature is group audio commentary of Apex of a Beautiful Day – you can believe you’ll hear some group “WHAO’S” on that!

This studio recording is The Teaching’s self-titled CD. It was released on January 2nd, 2009 at the Triple Door in Seattle, WA. The CD contains all first-takes that beautifully represent the excitement and musical exploration that characterized the birth of our band. The album was masterfully recorded, mixed, and mastered, as you’ll see if you play it on a high-quality stereo system. The music is a wonderful companion for driving, relaxing, working, meditating, exercising, cooking, or any array of other activities. We’ve had multiple people share with us that they listen to it everyday! This inspires us to keep doing what we’re doing. We hope you enjoy our debut album!
